The Value of Video Marketing

You may have heard the old saying, “A picture is worth a thousand words,” but how many words is a video worth? In an increasingly digital world, the value behind video marketing is only increasing. Video marketing can actually influence customers’ behaviors more than many people realize. From visiting the website to learn more, to purchasing the specific product featured, customers are more than likely to take some sort of action after watching your video.
According to Brian Magnosi, who is often referred to as the Video King, both Facebook and Instagram videos have had a massive impact on marketing. While text and graphics are important to business success, so are videos. Conveying your message in this interactive medium allows customers to get a feel of who your business is and what your unique benefit proposition is.
This digital world has given marketers the ability to connect with customers and engage in two-way communication with them as well. This increase in two-way communication allows businesses the ability to connect with their customers. Videos are one way to do this! In fact, according to the Content Marketing Institute, customers are 10 times more likely to engage or share video content than other methods of posting.
However, it’s important to remember that your videos must be engaging in nature or this will not be a viable method for you. The Video King believes that it’s important to be different than what everyone else is doing in order to do this. Rather than blend in with the clutter on social media, make you’re your video stands out, connects with your audience, and is easy to share.
