Snapchat is rapidly becoming one of the most popular social media platforms, and for good reason. It’s a refreshing take on social media, and it’s simplicity is a powerful asset. In terms of branding power, though, the little Snapchat ghost is absolutely crucial to their success. It’s becoming increasingly ubiquitous, becoming a sort of mascot for the platform. However, the redesign? It has completely changed the face of the company. It’s such a simple logo, but it’s becoming the image with which users associate Airbnb, which is the most crucial step to take when establishing a brand as a powerhouse.
The massively popular music streaming service has earned their spot at the top of the game thank to their outstanding service and functionality, but their logo is where the magic lies. Its simplicity does not come at the cost of relevance and recognition, which has done wonders for establishing them as a powerhouse in the music industry. It’s a brilliant example of how engrained a logo can become and the effects it can have on an entire industry.
For quite some time, the iTunes logo remained unchanged, and for good reason. It was a clean, recognizable logo, and people liked it. However, recently, it has been modernized, which makes perfect sense. It’s a great representation of how iTunes is growing to offer more and more services like Apple Music and the like.
