About Me

David W. Anderson began his marketing career in 1974. He spent his first professional years in the advertising agency business, working his way from writer to Sr. VP of Client Services for a large regional agency. He then became VP of Sales and Promotions for a national floral wire service. In 1986, he launched his own firm, AMSI.

Anderson is a true believer in "reality marketing" and has written two marketing books, "Predictive Marketing: The Secret Sauce" and "Strategic Marketing Planning for the Small to Medium Sized Business".

Today, Anderson offers consulting services to a wide range of businesses. From quantitative and qualitative research to strategic planning, executive group facilitation, and electronic commerce systems design we help businesses solve problems and grow. His clients include international oil companies, global software developers and world-wide oil tools manufacturers.

 

Anderson developed the 4Cast(TM) predictive marketing system to help banks and corporations retain and enhance their customer relationships – a system that has increased campaign responses by 1000%.

 

In the past, Anderson has conducted landmark industry research and marketing planning literally reshaping the international prepress industry. In addition, he has pioneered many research based marketing systems, helping to convert analog selling systems to e-commerce systems.

Anderson also created and marketed the WebTeller® brand electronic financial services to banks, third party pension administrators and others.

Overall, however, Anderson simply loves the challenge of helping others by creating measurable marketing plans that truly work.

Anderson is the recipient of the Bullseye Award, which is the “best of show” award presented by the American Marketing Association for a marketing plan.  In addition, Anderson has received more than 25 ADDY awards during his career.

Anderson has published marketing white papers and research reports for the International Pre-press Association and is a frequent speaker on the topics of marketing research, strategic planning and predictive analytics.

 

Anderson has served on the boards of Family & Children’s Services and the NE Oklahoma Arthritis Foundation, as well as volunteering his marketing services to many social service agencies.
