I am the Chief Knowledge Officer at RKG, a data-driven digital marketing agency with service and technology solutions in paid search, SEO, social media, display, attribution, and comparison shopping.
I'm focused on the science and strategy of online marketing, particularly applying scientific rigor to the integration of marketing efforts across complementary channels (paid search, SEO, display, social, CSEs).
Prior to joining RKG, I founded a boutique SEO agency which worked with premier brands like Zappos, Amazon, Gannett, Kroger, HSN, University of Phoenix, Michelin, and UnderArmour.
I've been active in the search marketing industry for over a decade and am a frequent speaker at events like SMX and SMX Advanced, Searchfest, SES, BlueGlass, MozCon, LinkLove, and Pubcon. I'm also a frequent contributer to the RKG blog and columnist for Search Engine Land and Search Engine Watch. I've served as technical editor for Wiley/Sybex publications such as, “SEO: An Hour A Day”.
